In the Kenora District of Ontario, Dryden is on Trans-Canada Highway 17. Home to Max the Moose, the city mascot admired by travelers through the area, Dryden is a Wilderness City surrounded by amazing natural resources. Fishing enthusiasts find year round fun at Wabigoon Lake and numerous others in the region – remember there are free fishing license weeks in February and July.

Just over an hour east from Kenora, Dryden is home to the summer's Moosefest – join residents and visitors for competitions, fun, and entertainment. If you are headed to Dryden in winter, Winter Festival is a terrific family event. Dryden is worth a visit any time of year on your northern Ontario trek.
