Find a wealth of outdoor beauty in northern Ontario when you get out and explore on your snowmobile. There are a number of exciting trails reaching as far as Kenora – you'll want to keep your snowmobile gassed and ready as there are nearly 35,000 kilometers of trails.
A visit to Thunder Bay will yield quick and easy access to the Thunder Bay Adventure Trails – nearly 55 kilometers or pristine and scenic snowmobiling trails.
As you cruise along the Thunder Bay Adventure Trails, you'll find yourself within the Matawin River Provincial Nature Reserve, offering stunning views of the northern Ontario landscape.
Further north you'll find Sioux Lookout. Head for the Hudson Loop, operated by the Ojibway Power Tobaggan Club, and just south of downtown Sioux Lookout. Hudson Loop features 38 kilometers of ride-able snowmobile trail, guiding you along Minnitaki Lake, through the Ojibway Provincial Park, and back around to Mud Lake and Lily Lake.
In Kenora you'll find a wide range of trails, all well-groomed and maintained by local volunteers and snowmobile clubs like the Sunset Trail Riders. Head out and try the Kenora to Falcon Lake Trail, or the Portage McKenzie Trail.
